Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas (SHICK) is a free program offering Kansans an opportunity to talk with trained counselors regarding Medicare and other insurance issues. SWKAAA maintains a network of counselors throughout our 28-county area through volunteers and partners. SHICK counselors receive training on Medicare, Medicare supplement insurance, long-term care insurance, and other health insurance subjects that concern older Kansans and those with disabilities. Our counselors do not work for any insurance company and they are careful to provide unbiased information to help you pick the plan that suits you best.
