OKEP’s Job Listings

The Older Kansans Employment Program (OKEP) is a state funded program to assist individuals age 55 or older in securing employment. SWKAAA is the contracted provider for these and other employment services.

 

Following are a list of job openings. For more information about a particular job opening, please contact the OKEP counselor nearest you.

 

Highlighted Openings For Week of 3-8-10

 

Dodge City – Call Brandie Ferguson, OKEP Coordinator, for more information at 620-225-8230. SWKAAA’s office is located at 236 San Jose in Dodge City.

 

·        Unit Secretary/Part time – Duties include reception, transcription, data entry, record retrieval preparation and maintenance of patient records.

·        Unit Secretary/Full time – Duties include reception, transcription, data entry, record retrieval preparation and maintenance of patient records.

·        Maintenance Personnel – Will encounter full range of custodial and maintenance tasks.

 

Garden City – Call Brandie Ferguson, OKEP Coordinator, for more information at 620-225-8230. Brandie will be at the KanWorks office at 7th & Spruce on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. SWKAAA’s office is located at 236 San Jose in Dodge City.

 

  • Health Care Worker – No experience necessary, flexible schedule.
  • Operations/Maintenance Worker – Involved in building and grounds operations/maintenance.
  • Housekeeping Office Assistant – Temporary position with both evening and weekends available.

 

Great Bend – Call Brandie Ferguson, OKEP Coordinator, for more information at 620-225-8230. Brandie will be at the KanWorks office at 1025 Main at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. SWKAAA’s office is located at 236 San Jose in Dodge City.

 

  • Admissions Specialist – Performs full range of financial, registration and administrative support duties.
  • Life Skills Development Facilitator Develops and manages a program of life-enrichment to developmentally disabled adults.
  • Customer Service/Food Prep – People skills, basic computer skills, food prep, must work well with others.
